Background
Welcome to Religion at St. Vincent de Paul School! This is my 32nd year of teaching at SVdP. I graduated from College of St. Mary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education. I taught kindergarten prior to SVdP for 6 years at St. Albert School in Council Bluffs, IA.

Class Info
In both 7th and 8th grade, we will be working on receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. We will be studying the parts of Mass, the different forms of prayer, and how we see God in our every day lives. We will be comparing the Old and New Testaments and relating that to daily life in the 21st century. Our journey with Jesus is an on-going journey, and we will use this time to strengthen our knowledge and beliefs of our Catholic faith.
