Mrs. Jennifer Schroen - Room 43
Background
Welcome to Room 43! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Schroen, and I am one of the 4th grade teachers at SVdP. This is my 1st year at St. Vincent de Paul and my 8th year as an educator of children. I taught K-3 for four years in Maryland. I was a Title 1 teacher in Omaha for two years, and most recently was a 6-8th grade Reading Specialist. I received a bachelor's degree from The University of Maryland, a master's in teaching from Towson University, and a master's in Literacy from University of Nebraska Omaha. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
Class Info
I teach the English curriculum to all fourth grade students. In addition, I teach religion, math, reading, spelling, vocabulary, and handwriting to the students in my homeroom. In fourth grade we get to look forward to rosary making, kindergarten buddies, and field trips to the courthouse and the Capitol! We share teacher associates in grade four. We are very blessed to have Mrs. Colleen Leise, Mrs. Janeen Moynihan, Mrs. Dainna Lima, Mrs. Ellie Seward, and Mrs. Candy Sus who have so much experience with children and have a lot to offer your student.
