Class Info
Reading is a major skill developed in first grade. I'll work to help your child become a lifelong reader building a love for reading. In math students learn number sense, addition and subtraction facts to 18 as well as double digit addition and subtraction, telling time, and counting money. Working on independence in addtion to social and study skills are important parts of first grade. Most important of all is growing in our faith as we learn more about being children of God, not only during religion class but also in all we do. Mrs. Denise Johnston and Ms. Pam Botos are the teacher associates who will be working with the students in Room 13.
